About Prompt & Present

Prompt & Present turns what your own AI assistant already knows about you into a gift list that friends and family can buy from. You answer a few questions, run one prompt in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, paste its reply back, and get a page of up to ten gifts, each linked to Amazon, to share.

Why it exists

Many people find it hard to say what they want, and the people buying for them end up guessing. An assistant you have used for months may have seen what you do, what you own and what you have said you wanted. Asked the right way, it can write a gift list that sounds like you. Prompt & Present supplies the question, finds a real product for each idea, and gives you one link to send.

What we see and what we do not

From your assistant we receive only what you paste: the gift descriptions it prints. The notes it keeps about you stay with your assistant. We also keep your answers to the opening questions and a record of visits and clicks. The people you share a list with see each gift and one sentence on why it suits you. The privacy page lists everything.

How it earns money

The site is free. Gift links go to Amazon, and Amazon pays us a commission when someone buys through one, at no extra cost to the buyer. How Prompt & Present makes money explains it in full.

Who writes the guides

The guides are written by the Prompt & Present team. A guide describes the site as it works on the day it was last updated, and each one shows that date.

Who runs it

Prompt & Present is operated by Wheatley Consulting Inc, a New York corporation. Questions, corrections and requests go to hello@promptandpresent.com.
